Even the textiles draw inspiration from traditional Polynesian body tattoos, and the teak-wood furnishings feel both luxurious and grounded in local culture. Every detail made the bungalow feel like a peaceful sanctuary right over the water.
We were there over Thanksgiving, so there were plenty of families, but it still felt calm. I can only imagine how romantic it must feel during the school year when it’s mostly couples.
